The mother of Green Houses Founder Mark Lewis who we sadly lost in Aug 2022, was a huge advocate of community initiatives especially in her ancestral home of Dominica.

As an American expat Ms Robinson was a deep believer that everyone deserved access to healthcare and to feel safe on the roads, whether they were walking to school or driving to work. The saddest irony of this being she was a victim of a fatal motor accident herself.

This loss had a seismic impact on Mark and it was the catalyst to honour his mother and continue to fulfil her dreams and support her beloved community in Dominica

All communities in Dominica were hugely impacted by hurricane Maria, since 2017 the country has tirelessly re-structured development. Focus has been directed towards the international opportunities to the island, including an entirely new airport and streamlined aviation scheduling enabling direct international flights to the this Nature Island, for tourism.
